Empower Change with Sustain Sewickley
Together, we can empower individuals and communities to create lasting change. Donate to the Sewickley Valley YMCA and the Quaker Valley Food Relief Fund to fight food insecurity in our town.
volunteer OPPORTUNITIES
The YMCA's Angel Tree Program helps provide Christmas gifts for local children in need. The YMCA collects gifts, and parents and caregivers then get the opportunity to shop for their children. The Y needs volunteers to help set up our large gym with gifts and attend the shopping event to help restock gifts and carry gifts out for parents.
Register to volunteer and pick up cards from the Sewickley Valley YMCA beginning December 16th. You can then take them home and write a personalized message that will bring a smile to someone's face. Once volunteers have written a heartfelt message, return the unselaed envelope to the Y by January 27th. The cards will be mailed to the Faith in Action care recipients so they can feel the community's love and support on Valentine's Day.
